Do you guys know how and who brought this guy to Esteghlal as he is a top class player??? if it was Schefer then we need to really give him credit for it as I have never seen any foreign or specifically black player in this class before in our leagues even though we have had a few good ones too, but he is just something else. He is a beast and believe it or not, he is predominately a left winger, but now is shining as a striker in Esteghlal. Even though you all know I am a red fan, but fair is fair so I opened this thread to discuss about him.

To be expected really given his pedigree and age. As you say, I'm struggling to understand how a 25 year-old of his stature goes from Serie A to PGL.

He played a pretty good Season in Belgium. Which is more than Luciano Pereira, Edinho or De Jesus.
Btw he also played a good amount of games as a winger.

Cesar hasn't even scored 10 goals combined for all the clubs he has played for since 2013. Toure would smoke him by a mile. I think you forgot Toure was also leading scorer on Monaco a few years back

Toure was a class above Iran, no doubt about that. If I'm not wrong he was capped for his NT as well.

But Bruno was literally toying with PGL defenses. I haven't watched him outside of Sepahan though.

Imagine if both played together.

Jlloyd Samuel’s resume and overall pedigree was much better although I do think Thiam has great experience and is quality
