Persepolis vs Al Hilal - 2nd leg AFC Club Champ. Semi Final, News, Info, Live report

Venue: Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex, Muscat

    Kick-off: October 17, 20:00 UTC+4
    9:00 AM PST
    12:00 PM EST

Friends... There is always hope: NEVER GIVE UP. Go Persepolis:

To get inspired just watch what Barcelona did when they lost the 1st leg match 0-4, nobody thought they would make it, but they did.

So Persepolis can do it too why not?. Let's keep the hopes alive till the fat lady sings after 90 minutes and not anytime before that.

maybe we would have had a chance with taremi. He really added fear factor to the bitch ass Saudi defenders . Alipour and mensha are good , but don't have the same threat. Hopefully we can at least regain pride

I really hope for PP to pull this magic up (like many teams have done in history) not only to go through and shut some mouths but show that anything is possible on the right day. I know it is a very hard match to pull off, but nothing is impossible even against the worst odds and we see it happen again and again. Perhaps the energy we send the team would also matter a little bit don't you guys think so?

I will stay positive till the end of the game.

I would love to believe in the power of positive thought and because of that I will project a strong play but to come back from 4-0 loss on the 1st leg is mission Insane for Persep. I predict a 2-1 score for Persep.

Remember that we lost the game from within and without one single ball being played. Persep mis management and Taremi's greedy behavior where the TWO reasons we lost in Tehran BEFORE we boarded the plane to Abu Dhabi.

As much as I have supported PP for years now, I just feel dismayed about this. The combination of missing key players and the toothlessness of the performance from the last game really put this fixture beyond reach. I know it is admirable to keep faith, but at this point we're just fighting for a little bit of "too-dahani" and pride. All of the dirty politics behind the match-up, from the venue to the timing of Taremi's suspension, just makes it all so distasteful to witness.

No comeback. Without Taremi, PP will lose this game 2-1 and finish their ACL campaign.
The fairy tale story had to come to an end. Everyone knew it was going to happen.

LOL I died when I saw this. Some fans need to realize that Branko is not that great of a coach or leader. He is NO CQ to create magic out of nowhere.
All Mr Branko can do is buy the best talents of IPL and win the league. Nothing more. The ACL run is over.

I won't be upset if we don't go to the final. We just have to win this match.

                      Dear Saleh Al-Nu'eimeh صالح النعیمه,

I don't not wish to humiliate you more than you have humiliated yourself by your recent comments against Ali Daei and Iranian football.

I do not wish to embarrass you more than your nation's football have embarrassed themselves for the past 8 years in Asian football. I completely understand that it is frustrating for you while reading the rankings and seeing Iran as the true Kings of Asia. I understand that it hurts you inside. It must be very painful for you. I'm sorry.

Allowing yourself to speak against the country who stands at the top of Asia in all senses of the word (Football, Futsal, Beach Football) must be very devastating for you. You must be full of hatred and jealousy towards Iranians and Iranian football.

You must be filled with so much hatred when you attempt to mock and disrespect a legend such as Ali Daei. A legend who has accomplished more in 5 years than you have in your entire footballing career.

I have to be honest and frank with you Sir. It is truly depressing to read an Ex Saudi player such as yourself act tough as though Omar Khiribin is of Saudi decent. Is Khiribin a Saudi? Did Khiribin teach Iranians football?

The last time I checked both Omar Khiribin and Omar Al Somah were Syrian footballers who are a part of your league. But it is alright. You must have lost a few brain cells throughout the years which is the result of aging. It is evident through the professional and classy words you have expressed towards Ali Daei and Iranian football.

Sometimes I too forget where Omar Khiribin and Omar Al Somah are from. I always think they are Saudi football players who perform for the Saudi National Football Team.

But when I think about the 2011 AFC Asian Cup, for some reason it comes back to me that Omar Khiribin and Omar Al Somah are Syrians. They weren't in that squad, but I remember Syria was absolutely flawless in that group. It is fine. The aging process is actually a beautiful thing. We all forget sometimes.

If I were you, I would take some time to reflect and really think before deciding what to say in the media.

Mr. Al-Nu'eimeh, you have not only made a fool of yourself but of Saudi Arabian Football with your words. I am sad for you sir. There is no cure for your hatred and your jealousy.

End your BS toward Persepolis. It was end of fairy tale when SS was smashed 6-1 by Al Ain. Persepolis had the fire power to pass Al Hilal if it wasn't for Jalal's injury, suspension of Kamyabinia, Ansari and Taremi. They killed our momentum in very critical moment.
I predict 2-0 for Persepolis to have some pride at the end of the day. Guys should rip their souls off and come back with a win. I don't care if we not advance but I get mad if we lose again. We should play for a victory and restore our Iranian pride that SS lost in UAE and we ditto that with our last performance. Win or never come back home, die in Oman from shame.

Look who's talking. The member who constantly bashes and talks sh!t about Esteghlal, our (former) coach and players every opportunity he gets, even in totally unrelated topics.

                          ====

Anyway, on topic: If PP manages to score early on and towards the end of the 1st half, I can see some panic getting into the Saudi assess. An early goal is vital. The chances are slim but with some luck (more a miracle, but ok), PP can do it. Crazier sh!t has happened in football! Anyhow, no matter what happens, I hope they don't allow Omar Goozbin to score. I hope Hosseini puts him in his back pocket.
Persian Pride running through my veins!

                          Esteghlal for life!!

Lmao this has nothing to do with SS.. Learn how to stay on topic and not bring in another team... I am talking about Perspolis and quite frankly, I am being honest when I say Perspolis has NO CHANCE to win this game nor even advance. I am saying that even tho I always root for Iranian clubs (even PP) in ACL competitions. So instead of bashing me and bringing in SS for absolutely no reason, stay on topic.
