WHY IRANIAN PLAYERS DONT GET INTO TOP TEAMS IN BETTER LEAGUES

All these teams don't want to put up with the baggage that comes with Iranian players.
None of our players can play ISRAEL. If any of these teams are drawn in games with teams from Israel in champions league or Europa league, they will get a lot of negative publicity.

    That is the main reason.

End of day, there are a lot of Jewish investors in these teams, and they don't want Iranian players.

Yes not wanting to play against Israel is why Real Madrid has refrained from signing our entire TM.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Does not have to be Real Madrid.
There are 20 teams in each of the top 5 leagues. With the starting team, subs and reserves they normally have about 30-40 players in their team. That is at least 400 players in those leagues, and none of our players make the cut!!!!
You look at Jahanbakhsh, he had to skip the games with Israeli team last year. Before it was our German raised player, Dejagah, This year it is HajSafi and Shojai. Does not make for great publicity for these teams. They are business operations, that have to respond to their share holders.

That might not be the only reason, but it definitely contributes to overall decision.

Or it could be that there are better European players that don't need a work permit.

This is the most accurate answer you'll get, I'd only add racism in there too.

WHY IRANIAN PLAYERS DONT GET INTO TOP TEAMS IN BETTER LEAGUES

Lack of EU passport is the biggest reason. Don't give me that 'what about the Japs' because there is a lot of business incentive involved with those deals.

It's not like European clubs have always ignored our players. Iranian players used to have the biggest presence in Bundesliga among the Asian countries. Perugia bought 2 Iranian players in the same transfer window.

Imo the reasons we don't have a single player in the 5 leagues today are
                      1) Missing the 2010 World Cup destroyed the reputation of our players.
                      2) Our players haven't done anything special in the top leagues in the last 10 years with the exception of Nekounam. Meanwhile East Asian countries exported guys like Kagawa and Son and they opened up for other Japanese and Korean players to join top league teams.

Because we Iranians can not represent our talents professionally and adequately. Professional agents sell players to great clubs and our agents simply suck.

And another big issue is that Iran is a politically charged country and is always creating negative news globally and nobody wants to deal with that shit. PERIOD.

                          1 - Non-EU passport
2 - Agents with no contacts
3 - no additional financial incentives (East Asian players often come with some sort of sponsorship, tv money... Iranian players don't).

I'm sure after the world cup some top teams will start making offers for some of our players. I hope

Same goes with Arabs, like there is no money in buying an Iraqi, buy a japanese player and boom your club will gain followers in Japan, they will buy real jersies(not something made by hassan or xin xao), toyota might want a piece of that and blabla so on.
