Haji claims that a team won the Hazfi cup by bribing the opponent defender. He did not mention the name of the team, but gave strong hints. He said that the winner of the final did not get good result in the first leg of the final, then they bribed the other team player and managed to win the second leg and the whole tie. He also said that the winner team then hired the bribed player the season after. The media speculate that Haji Mayeli is referring to Esteghlal-Pegah final, and the player in question is Taghipour.

I am not a big fan of Haji Mayeli, but his big big claim deserves a thread. IMO, the matter should be investigated thoroughly. If he can prove his claim, SS should be punished severely. If he is proven wrong, he should be banned from football for a while so that he learns to STFU.

First of all, with all due respect plz don't gonde-goozi. Second, I was stating Oladi as another example of POSSIBLE bribery. You don't need to clarify for me that Oladi is a forward or a defender. As I said before, I remember even at that time there was a rumor that Taghipoor was bribed and we suddenly see him coming to SS out of nowhere next year. So this case is very suspicious. But all are only speculations.
Finally, I assure you for every cup that Esteghlal or Perspolis won there was sth "poshte-parde". Do you really think that IFF wanted Malavan to be our representive in ACL?!! No way because their stadium is not approved by AFC and if Malavan goes to ACL that would mean a certain reduction in the number of spots for Iran in future ACLs. Same is the case 3 years ago between Pegah and Esteghlal. Or do you think that IFF allows Gostaresh-Foolad Tabriz to be our representive in ACL?
