Modern Seates, I saw that for the first time 5 years ago in the Amsterdam ArenA.
These seats can warm your ass up.

The benches were also supposed to be moved to the opposite side, but for some reasons they didn't do it.

به گزارش مهر، در حدود 20 روز مانده به آغاز یازدهمین دوره رقابت‎های فوتبال لیگ برتر باشگاه‏های کشور، زمین چمن استادیوم یک صدهزار نفری آزادی کاملا آماده است و هیچ مشکلی برای برگزاری این رقابت‎ها ندارد. اما قرار است تغییراتی در اطراف زمین و در بخش نیمکت‎ها و تبلیغات ایجاد شود.

بر این اساس محل نیمکت‎های بازیکنان ذخیره تیم‎ها و ناظران از جایگاه فعلی منتقل شده و در محل مقابل آن واقع در ضلع شرقی مجموعه ورزشی آزادی تعبیه می‎شوند. این نیمکت‎ها پس از تعویض کامل به صورت چرخ‎دار در محل‎های جدید تعبیه می‎شوند. در مقابل های تبلیغاتی هم که در حال حاضر در ضلع شرقی و روبروی جایگاه ویژه قرار دارند نیز به سمت مقابل منتقل خواهند شد.

برای آغاز فصل جدید مسابقات باشگاهی فوتبال بخش موتورخانه مرکزی استادیوم یک صد هزار نفری آزادی که چندی پیش دچار مشکل شده بود نیز مورد بازسازی‎های قرار می‎گیرد تا این بخش در این فصل از رقابت‎ها دچار مشکل نشود. ضمن اینکه جایگاه ویژه جانبازان نیز افتتاح خواهد شد.

اردشیر درویشی، مدیر مجموعه ورزشی آزادی نيز ضمن تائید این مطلب اظهار داشت: مسئولان AFC در بازدیدی که از مجموعه آزادی داشتند انجام چنین تغییراتی را توصیه کرده بودند. بر این اساس عزیرمحمدی، رئیس سازمان لیگ فوتبال پیشنهاد انجام آن را ارائه کرد.

وی تصریح کرد: توصیه مقامات AFC و پیشنهاد رئیس سازمان لیگ بر این اساس مطرح شده که محل نیمکت بازیکنان و ناظران به محل رختکن‎ها نزدیک‎تر شود. بنابراین انجام این جابه‎جایی‎ها را در دستور کار قرار داده‎ایم تا در صورت تصویب پیش از آغاز لیگ 90 آنها را انجام دهیم.

مدیر مجموعه ورزشی آزادی ضمن تاکید بر اینکه نیمکت بازیکنان و ناظران به طور کامل تعویض خواهد شد، خاطرنشان کرد: نیمکت*های جدید به صورت چرخ‎دار تهیه می‎شوند تا در صورت نیاز امکان جابه‎‏جایی سریع آنها وجود داشته باشد.

درویشی با اشاره به افتتاح جایگاه ویژه جانبازان گفت: پیش از این محل مشخصی برای استقرار این افراد وجود نداشت. اما با افتتاح جایگاه مورد نظر، عزیزان جانباز با کمترمشکلی جهت استقرار در استادیوم یک صد هزار نفری مواجه خواهند بود.

مدیر مجموعه ورزشی آزادی تاکید کرد: تماشاگران فوتبال وقتی برای تماشای نخستین دیدار فصل یازدهم رقابت های لیگ برتر به استادیوم یک صد هزار نفری مراجعه می کنند به طور حتم با تغییرات و تحولات محسوسی مواجه خواهند شد.

I actually felt that they gave that area a more 'modern' feel rather than the old benches that were there. It's the smallest of changes that help 'modernize' older stadiums such as Azadi although it's unlikely we'll see these changes implemented anytime soon.

This is going to be a serious problem for the afternoon/evening games. With the new system, benches and cameras look towards the west. Sun is going to shine right into their eyes during sunset. This means no games can be scheduled for noon-5 PM. It is going to be problematic when the weather gets colder.

Because 2nd floor seats will mean the entire stadium has to be shut down.
Last time they renovated the stadium was closed for 1.5 years.

The bench at Azadi looks like a very cheap version of the ones in the article,
The ones in the article look like they are set on top of an enclosed box(where you could have heating system/wires,etc).
The ones in Azadi you can see underneath the chairs and its just cheap looking.

I wish it would be. This way our players would actually be determined to work and stay on the pitch rather than sit on the bench and receive their nice paychecks.
