I've noticed as a TM and Chelsea fan that there have been some parallels of late. Both have new coaches that brought in VERY big expectations and the initial results haven't given the supporters what they hoped for.
But what I think is important to note is to look at Chelsea's 1-0 win over the Malaysian All-Stars on an own goal. Should Chelsea have thrashed them? Yes. Is there any question as to who is the better team? Not really. This, in some ways reminds me of TM's performance against Madagascar, however not all of the Cheslea fans are jumping ship and claiming that Villas-Boas is a fraud.
The key here is that wins are wins regardless of how you come by them, and any time a new coach takes over a team there will be growing pains and transitional periods.
Have patience with CQ. Allow him the chance to ACTUALLY fail before deciding that Iran is doomed. Thus far he is undefeated as TM coach, from where I sit, that's a good thing, I don't care how much he's won by, or if it was pretty, the fact is, he's never lost us a match. So let's roll with it.
