During the 10 season of IPL league:

Sepahan has 3 titles and a one Runner up

Esteghlal has 2 titles, 3 runners up and 2 third place finish. Esteglal won the 8th and 4th IPL and came second in first and third and now 10th IPL. I don't remember which IPL season SS came third but sure it was two.

Persepolis has 2 titles and 2 third place.

Overall Esteghlal has the best records with 7 out of 10 top three finishes and Sepahan and PP have 4 top three finishes.

Congrats to all three teams, especially Esteghlal for the best overall record in IPL. Another milestone for Esteghlal.

ESTEGHLAL is, without any doubt, the greatest team in the history of Iranian football. We don’t even mention the 2 Asian stars and the 2 Asian runner-up titles and yet we are still the very best team in Iran and Asia.

you are absolutely correct,
ESTEGHLAL finished 3rd not 4th;
and it was only based on goal difference;
so it should really be considered as 2nd.
ESTEGHLAL had the same number of points as z00b;
only +3 less in goal difference;
(much fewer than the +20 goal difference which separated the two teams in IPL 8 as ESTEGHLAL had GD of +36, z00b had only +16).
ESTEGHLAL is very clearly the SARAVAR of kole Iran.

I do not disagree Ali jan. I remember well how the league was played back then but remember that the Asian club cup titles of SS go under the same argument you just made above: """The current level of the IPL(Asian club championship) can't be compared to the era when teams were mushrooming left and right."""..considering one title was from 1970 and the latest one was 1990! I admire both however because an Iranian team won those titles.

Very true. I hope a day comes that Perspolis and Esteghlal only play %50 of their games in Azadi and not nearly %70. This is a sad fact about our league and must change.
