1-Hejazi, proved to be a little out of touch ,or not ready for the hard work head coaching of Esteghlal required...

2-Ghalenoee had too much Hashieh bazi ,and while had the best personel at his disposal,he mostly underachived.

3- Marfavi ,although less Hashieh with him, yet he was too inconsistant.

4-Parviz Mazloomi, had great results with other teams, specialy with mes kerman, and seems to be a right fit,as players are responding well...his Brother also has been a great help, and great coacing mate....

With a little time he has had,and a little too late a start for finding the complemmentary players to fit his system, he has created a good chemistry, and always says the right thing about his players.....
The addition of more complementary players next year, and his system set on his secound year, things may be better next year.

It appears, The Vetran TAJ Brothers have come to the rescue the beloved old team, and planing to stay !

Why ? can you elaborate ?

I hope you are not suggesting That ghalenoee or marfavi were better...
As Ghalenoee always needs top players, and seem to underachive...he is doing it again with Sepahan....

I personaly, do not think, a forign coach can handle the complexity of issues in Esteghlal......
and among omestic coaches, while I do like names such as : jallali and Ebrahimzadeh.....but no one can be sure if they could have done better.

just look at the kind of football we are playing.
look at how he has positioned our players and last of all look at our team.

we play boring tokhmi football, without any motivation.

look at the team he has put in the field. Week in Week out Ashoubi plays as a failure and he keeps him playing, kick the guy out FFS!

one week we play with a 3 back, then we play with a 4 back, and i guess yesterday we played with a 5 back? 3CBs: Sadeghi, omranzadeh, montazeri, and shirzad, amirabadi as our wings? Seriously, he needs to make up his mind. The same with the goalkeepers, first few weeks it was taleblou, then it was mohammadi, and now taleblou again?

look at all the khareji's, anderson that striker? WTF was that for a signing?

With all due respect, look at the team ghalenoi made from scratch a few years ago. We finished, 2nd, 3rd and 1st in 3 consecutive years. Not so many big names were bought, but all rised from the youth and other kind of youth players.

you can have your opinion, but in my eyes Amir Ghalenoi is one of the best domestic coaches at this point, if not the best. He is way ahead of Mazloomi.

I respect your view..and it is possible it is the correct one....
I how ever, have a different view....
What you are saying about the level of Football, is not just Esteghlal, that is where our football as a nation is....
Nor did Ghalenoee had the team working in all cylenders from the first minute. He only has been used to coach teams with lots of talents in them, and Mazloomi, the opposite..........
It takes time to know your team, he just started 4 months ago, He needs to try different looks to find what he wants.
With a little time at hand, and lower quality talent ( Compaire to Ghalenoee's time ), he has Esteghlal close to the top of the league......
The team is playing a progressive style, and very offensive....among the top offenses in the league,if not the best.....
His team scores alot on Most games, contrary to 1-0 1-1 type games Ali Daei is managing in perspolise, .....that is why Perspolise a teams alike lose or tie the game at the last moment, ..because they score, and then they defend the lead.

If this is his first 4 months of his work, without a choice of a player selection, I am very enthusiastic about his secound and third year.

Individually, all your points are valid and hard to deny, however your conclusion is not really accurate. The fact that we can play with 3, 4, and sometimes 5 defenders is a good thing. It proves that we have a dynamic team capable of changing tactics on demand. It will confuse the opposition. I actually really liked the formation in the second half of the saipa game. Let me elaborate:

Arash Borhani is the most consistent goal scorer of the past 10 years. Refer to the table at the end of the post and tell me that Arash is not the best. Sure he misses many great opportunities, but he has a fighting spirit that allows him to come back and achieve greatness. Instead of counting the number of opportunities that he misses, count the number of goals that he scores. Additionally his speed, endurance, and agility allow him to create opportunities for other strikers. Furthermore, he had more steals and offensive rebounds than anyone else in the game against Sepahan, and again in the game against saipa.

So what I would like to see is Arash and Milad up-front with Farhad playing as attacking-midfielder just behind them. Then we need two central midfielders, Iman Mobali and Mojtaba Jabari. These five players, when fit, form our pentagon of power. I cannot imagine any other Iranian players that I would like to see in their place.

At least one defensive midfielders is necessary for any team that plays with two CMs. And this is perhaps our weakest link. I understand your frustration with Ashoobi, but I am sure you’ll agree that Kianoosh Rahmati sucks even more. Desoza has performed a little bit better, but he is not good enough for ESTEGHLAL. There are three Iranian players that I trust for this position: Javad, Ando, and Hossein Kazemi. I believe that our championship depends on signing Ando. We should do all we can to get him, but until then, Ashoobi is the only option for DM. At the very least, he has TM to think about and that will give him motivation. Finally we need at least three defenders and they are Montazeri, Sadeghi, and Omranzadeh. Now consider this formation:

Talebloo
Pejman … Hanif … Sadeghi
Ashoobi
Iman…Jabari
Farhad
Arash…Milad

Notice that there is one player missing, and that is our point of dynamism. We can use Shirzad or Yoosefi in the left back and we have a perfect 4-4-2 diamond. ([THIS WAS OUR FORMATION IN THE SECOND HALF OF SAIPA GAME]). Or we can add a second DM to compensate our point of weakness. Or we can play a winger who is capable of playing both left and right (like Amirabadi or Sharifat) to maneuver around our CMs. Or we can add an extra CM/AM filter for the third ball, someone like Ravankhah.
