i had the same problem, you have to call and yell at them. they first claim that it's because you're internet is too slow, but get passed that and they will get it fixed.

if thats 3.01 megabits p/s it means 300 kb/s and glwiz streams at 700 kb/s i believe...

Guys, i have had the same problem with my new computer (a very fast brand new laptop which is very expensive), it buffers every 5 seconds and its VERY annoying, i have a very fast internet connection btw, but the weird thing is that it works very fine on my old laptop (8 years old and not even 1/3 as fast as this one) it works great on that one! best picture ever! now i dont know why it is like this, i have even called GLWIZ and asked them but they couldn't help me....so im guessing its some kind of setting that must be wrong on my new one and maybe you guys have the same problem...

I pay for it to every month, but if it works like it did today then **** it, its not worth even a penny

I have been using the service since day one when they went commercial heck I was among the first to bring it to ppl's attention.. It has been fine until two days ago hence the complaints from a bunch of us... This is an online service and it comes with its global complexities just because some of you have no issues doesn't mean everyone else should be fine... seriously get a life and get your nose out of other ppl's business.. my computer is just fine thank you very much!

It was esteghlal's game and i was so pissed @ Glwiz so i searched in google to find somewhere else to watch!! I found Iransportpress.com !! They charged me $12 4 watching ......It didn't work and the guy said ur internet is slow!!! Thanks to Glwiz that i paid to them 4 NO reason and they made me to go somewhere else!!! so now i already spent $50 4 NOTHInG!!

For me, I have this problem with channel 3 (irib3 and jamejam3). when I switch to irib2, every thing is fine, no buffering whatsoever. I do have a very fast internet. In general, however, the picture quality of channel3, when it's actually working, is way better than the channel2. but like anything else, you need to call them and let them know. they must be able to provide a solution. I think they are in Canada.

glwiz is not the same like they was in the past...they are crap now..

first they ALL make free and GOOD services..after some godo results,feedbacks and months...they make it to PAY-TV or watch it with very bad quality....and if you take the Pay TV...lol than you are angry because bad connection ,this and that and why and so on..

I am sure my speed is slower than most of you guys' internet. I have clear and I have the same problem that you have but here is the solution:

1) user fire fox instead of Internet explorer.

2) Click play, and then click on pause for few minutes, go do something and come back and you shouldn't have any problem.

I dont want to sound like as if I'm supporting glwiz (since I work there) but I have to let you guys know that the web service uses the internet to broadcast programming. Overall riding the internet wave on any device can cause problems. I actually do not think there is any web service that can broadcast persian programming over the net without any lag/buffer. I have done a through search over the internet and have discovered that there are no other site providing such service. A lot of them don't work or have constant freezing issues. Also note, glwiz has a customer support line that you can call, you can actually talk to someone rather than sending back and forth emails.
GLWiZ actually broadcasts programming without minimum lag, some ppl have weird settings on their computer so it causes problems. Also you must obtain a speed of 2.0 Mbps with the website itself, so if you're getting 10 Mbps from ur ISP and only 1.9 Mbps from GLWiZ well than that can cause an issue. GLWiZ has multiple servers around the world to boost speed for online clients, however currently they cannot afford to place hundreds of servers (eventually servers will add up).

The reason the service became a paid service was because the costs were too much, I work for this company so I know. There is a lot of money being allocated for servers, internet lines, customer reps, maintenance and etc. I think before we just jump to conclusion as to why the service has a subscription fee, we must do a little thinking, web video broadcasting is expensive and it doesnt just pay for itself. Think about it, if the service cannot keep up with costs then it will simply go bankrupt.
