View Full Version : Newspapers have started again
In the past 2 days, Iranian newspapers have started linking players with Perspolis and coming up with transfer prices. Also they are making up stories about players leaving or being fired from Perspolis.
I am positive 99% of them are fake,
I expect the club to react to this and for the first time ever, act professionally during the transfer season

It's not just those players, now they are talking about Denizli coming to Persepolis as the headcoach.

I would love to see Arifi here.
We dont need Rahmati. Haghighi will be the future TM Keeper.
Haghighi
Sepehr - Shiri - Rahman - Ashjari
Mohammad - Maziar Zare - Noori
Karimi
Khalili - Arifi
that would be a nice Line Up i think.
guys these are all just rumors, designed to create BAZARGARMI for players.
and now we are doing it ourselves :D

Don't be ridiculous. On a serious note, though, I read Persepolis is set to sign Henry, Juninho, and Beckham.

Yeah, I know. I'm super pissed that PP is even CONSIDERING them. Goes to show the level of our football:bigdown:
we definitely need to make some key changes to the squad next season and thinking about it, we need new players in almost every position...unfortunately.
to start with, we need a goalkeeper. haghighi shows that he has it in him, but too young to start for a club like perspolis. rahmati seems to be available and if he is interested, then you cannot find any better keeper in the country.
we also surely need a central defender. both our current starters rahman and sepeher are poor. sepehr had a good 1st season but hes been a disaster this year, while rahman is finished. shiri is quality and we need to buy a solid player to partner him next season.
we need to bring back ashoubi. no question. his absence was sorely missed.
if not, iman mobali.
in attack arifi would be a marvellous signing. look at what hes done with payam! superb...toure as much as hope and promise didnt really live up.
arifi and khalili and form a deadly duo.
and last but not the least, sign KHALATBARI!!!

I think Madanchi or Kazemian will join us definatly. They are both very good signings.
We have 5 Central Defenders. 3 of them are not as good as Persepolis need.
Shiri, Atsou, Rahman, Sepehr, Nabiollah
I think Shiri and Rahman are ok and maybeee Sepehr. But Nabiollah and Atsou have to leave to make space in the Roster. Also i dont want to see Zarei, Mansouri, Abdi and Kheirkhah next year. They are not at Persepolis Level.

i agree with everything except the rahamti signing, not only it would bring haghighi's confidence down but he will get considerably less time playing time meaning it would halt his progress, im 100% sure with the way haghighi will be bigger and better than rahamti...just needs some time.
lol at people thinking karimi will even consider playing anywhere else than perspolis in Iran.
Even if he has problems with the management, he will rather not play for a season than play for another team.

karimi would never leave perspolis the only thing im afraid is the arabs coming with their $$$$ :o
BehzadB

Why shouldn't he (or anyone else for that matter) leave if Arabs did come knocking on the door with a big check? this is not about greed or "gheirat" anymore. this is about business.
If it were a case where Karimi left Perspolis to any other club for "little more" money, then fine. that wouldn't be nice.. but if it is a lot of money? He gotta take it.
besides, we won a title without Karimi last year. didn't we? Perspolis don't depend on any one person
but I would be shocked to see Karimi play for any team other than Perspolis in Iran. I wasn't shocked when Daie did (but even that, it was a case of Parvin not wanting him back)..

last season we had a TEAM....wow I wonder if we ever have a team like that for a while again...Ghotbi and Estili and Kashani made the triangle of success behind the team last season and team chemistry was at its highest...
this year we have a one man team pretty much with so much mismanagment behind the scenes. :( as you said BehzadB jan, we should really be surprised how we are still challenging for the 3rd spot with this team and the overrated players we got, not to mention the coach and management changes we had...thank God hazfi starts so late in the season, otherwise we would not have a shot at that either lol

We shouldn't waste money on another keeper.. we have a very promising one in Haghighi.. and we have a decent back up behind him..
I would really like the team to go in a different direction than Zareh/Nouri/bagheri being the vocal point of our midfield.. Zareh is an average DM, Nouri has reached his top limits and bagheri is 35..
A LB, an OM and a couple of fighting midfielders..
get Ashoubi and Nosrati back.. and release the excess weight (Niki, Badamaki)
Tap into the youth, there are more Haghighi and Ali Askars there..
Does anyone know if Khalatbari is related to the old Khalatbari of Perspolis? If so, why isn't the son of a gun playing for his Dad's old team?:D

not sure if we need any new players... maybe a good creative (speedy and technical) midfielder... i don't see where we can improve really...
good defenders, good strikers, good keepers...

as i said haghighi is full of potential but i believe it is still too early for him to handle the pressure of being perspolis's no.1 keeper, considering he has no experience at all in the IPL and this was his first full season.
we cant takes risks. so far so good but what if haghighi starts making blunders and costs perspolis points? will he be strong enough to deal with the pressure?
remember this is perspolis and the fans in the stadium cannot tolerate mistakes after mistakes.
haghigh is NOT proven yet. yes he is very promising and i will be happy to see him as our no.1 in a few years time.
but answer me one question.
do we wanna win the league next year?
then we gotta bring in someone with the a proven quality and experience.
unfortunately we dont have that many good keepers in iran any more but there is one who beats everyone else currently and if reports are to be believed, he is also keen in joining us.
bring in rahmati.

all persepolis great keepers have developed in their youth in the woodwork...he is not too young...
i am worried about his attitude...wish he had oghabs attitude then he would have been our first transfered keeper...to europe...now its way iffy
