they play way to saba and at home against Peykan...both are tough games...i am really hoping saba can beat mes in qom on thursday and that of course will also effect their goal average....sepahan has the best chance i think since they have two more doable games and as for Perspolis, we have to win the next two games and maybe even hope that we get a plus 3 goal average on one of them, which is very hard....

as discussed on the other thread, I am also hopeful if we get the 4th spot, we have an outside chance of getting to Asia depending on the hazfi cup winner.

actually it would, but as we all know Hadi, none of our clubs are even among the top 4 in Asia, yet alone winning it :o

I think ACL is very doable if we get the right players,
Rahmati has been saying for a while that he want's to join us, I think he would be a great addition, then if we could get Nosrati back and couple of good wingers we should be on our way. :)

Now that 3rd position is hard to get, I hope to win ACL not only because of the prestige and the automatic qualification to the next year's tournament, but because the World Clubs Cup this year in November is here in UAE, and if Perspolis wins and qualifies to this tournament playing here is like playing at home with all the Iranian crowd.

We have good players. Karimi, Khalili, Rezaei, Toure, Maziar and ... We can win the ACL. These players are some of the best in Asia.

You saw what happened to us when Karimi was not there.
If we want to win the ACL we need to do a lot, get good players ( especially for our left side) and etc..

As Bagheri already said, the players arent motivated in IPL because they cant win it anymore.
ACL and Hazfi cup are the only things they can win and I hope they will.

I dont know what will happen if we play without Karimi in ACL :fear:

Guys we won the IPL without karimi, u guys make it sound like we are a one man team. I am sure if u look at the stats Aghaei had done just as good as karimi this time last year. I think if we could get our hand on someone like Aghaei but a bit younger we would be in with a chance of winning the ACL (someone like Mobali would be ideal), it looks like Ashoubi is definite to come back too which just gives us more options in the play maker role... I know I am being a bit optimistic but if Porto can with the ECL I think we can mange the ACL ;)

however I am not sure if they can get results in Asia and I hope Sepahan can get that 3rd spot as they are more likely to do well in ACL and also they'll have less motivation for Hazfi.

player-wise they are ok... but i think all our teams need to hire better coaches to succeed at Asian level...

ashoubi has time and again said he wants to return to perspolis. and players like rahmati, sadeghi and even edinho will leave to bigger teams if they get good offers in my opinion...

but yea, our coaches arent really at a standard to challenge the experienced european and south american coaches the rest of asian clubs are hiring lately! :(

if we finish 4th yeah. and to finish 4th we got to win our last match 3 or 4 -0 and hope sepahan lose 2-0. then leave it to aliabadi.

but anyway as i said before we will win ACL and qualify automatically. :bow:
