first and foremost, NIKHBAKHT HAS TO GO

Well, first half had nothing to discuss.
Second half we conceded the goal very soon and while we were still examining SS.
The goal IMO was totally Jabbari's individual skill and a bit of Haghighi's fault in his positioning and late reflection.
After goal we started attacking and had some good opportunities.
2 beautiful pass by Karimi and horrible finishing by Nikbakht.
Bagheri's sub was a good one i believe as he was damn tired and nothing to perform.
SS afterwards had 2 good possibilities which was due to our all players attacking and empty DF.
Nikbakht was totally off and what can i say man.
in the other hand Karimi was brilliant despite his back injury and not training since a week, his passes were simply great, his dribbling skill is phenomenon , he dribbled any SS's player who he wanted az TM player begir ta....
Nouri was good and tried a lot, run like a horse and was serving good as always and it was his cross that caused the penalty.
Zare was acceptable while he showed some technical skill today as well.
Overall not a bad game despite all the shit has been going through the club and bad coaching since Peyrovani had taken the charge.
Draw was fair as all the stats were almost equal and we had even more corner and more ball positioning.
One thing i wanna say is i'm just thankful of god that we have Karimi in our team, he's the best thing happened to Perspolis this season.

The beautiful things that we saw during the penalty >>

1) Dame Zare garm for standing behind that ball and converting it so nicely.
man I doubt any of us can understand the pressure he was in, he missed that we would become the big victim of the game instead of Alizade
The guy was in total state of shock after scoring, it took him like 2-3 seconds to react
he has his ups and downs but at the end of the day its these kindof stuff that shows whos really red all over
* مازيار زارع پس از پايان بازي در حالي كه به شدت گريه مي كرد به سمت هواداران پرسپولس رفت و براي آنها دست تكان داد.

2) Ali Karimi
hes just an honor a true playing Perspolisi legend
if you guys noticed in the penalty replay he was at midfield and his back toward the goal, really shows the love man, among all players, he with all his experience and fame was the one that couldn't watch it

3) Peyrovani
Gotta love this man. It was to early for him to take the top job. when serving as coach he stood hard by his team ( unlike some ghalemorghi's who point fingers at the end of games ). but without any ede-a, any hashiye, hes back as an assistant
hes usually a very calm type of guy. I really don't ever recall seeing him jump in joy like that, just got me 100x times more excited

------
We look at the whole thing, this might serve us better than if we would have won. grabbing esteghlal's win from them in extra time is gonna have these guys dizzy for a while, they are gonna have hashiyeh, fans are devastated and they will loose points in their upcoming games

The underlined part of your statement sounds rather delusional to me .

We're still 9 points ahead of you, and Zobahan lost a match today....so I personally don't care that much that we couldn't win, as long as we hold the trophy up high at the end of the season, even if we lost it wouldn't do much damage :D.

I agree with 1,2, and 3 though.

well I guess we have to wait and see. I think if we had an insider in esteghlal they could tell us how the atmosphere is in thee. I assume ( and it usually is ) much worse than we think.

They need a really good game to get out of this mess, might happen in their next game, might take more time. time will tell

So far, GN has shown that he is a master of working with the players' mentality. We've bounced back from 3 bad losses so far, and having accomplished so much so far, it would be unlikely that they can't do it again.

the players I thought did well, of course except fat-ali belly khan, but the team of course lacked any real tactic in play although we did somewhat well in marking down the strong holds of ss team...all that said, we are Perspolis and should not and will not be happy to tie the blues but I guess considering what we have gone through the past 2-3 months, it wasn't bad at all, as long as we actually see the team play better and better and be ready for the ACL.

Toreh needs to be fined next time he gets a stupid yellow and fat-ali needs to be benched. The rest of the boys need to be thanked for their hard work, specially Haghighi (his is very young and played an ok game I thought), Karimi and Zare for his cool finish against the leagues' best PK saver.

Yes Team lacked tactic and still we're suffering a very bad 3,4 month training under Peyrovani and plus our system totally changed yesterday.
After almost 5,6 years of playing with 4 DF , we played by 3 DF in derby.
Petrovic was a bit confused of his new role and my biggest worry was Shiri as CB and he was gonna cause an own goal on a scene but thanks to Heydari.
Vingada on his first game showed some intelligences, he came to know that the team has been under some shit and cannot face the best attacking team of the league unless with some major changes.
So the best thing he come out was to take MF out of SS's hand and he did that by playing with 6 MF and it worked and we saw almost both the half times we had most of the ball positions.

i was suprised to see the change of formation.

all of a sudden playing with a 3-man defence in an important derby game was a risky business but vingada thought he might shield some of the cracks in defence by adding a libero. and it probably worked..i dunno..

eses came for a draw and especially in the 1st half they didnt show any urgency to move forward. their 2 flank players, particularly khosro heydari is a constant nuisance in every game they play but he wasnt penetrating much against us.

in the 2nd half it was the same old story until they scored a goal from the sheer briliance of jabbari.

after that the game came to life and we started playing with more intensity, but eses were countering pretty well.

in the end i thought a draw was a fair result after squandering a couple of good chances. sepehr's header off a corner was just agonizingly wide while nikbakht had a couple of decent chances where had he been in his fit days i have no doubt he would have finished them. but the guy is past it in my opinion. i seriously dont think vingada is gonna remain so tolerant with him.

karimi ran his socks off and although he gave a couple of bad passes he was still all over the field and was our only source of hope to do something in this game and not too suprising that he won us the penalty...funny enough it was off alizadeh's holy hands :-D ps. the long pass karimi gave through eses' defence to nikbakht was just brilliant.

but all in all i though it was the most boring derby i had ever witnessed.
