I realize it has only been a few weeks since he has taken over, almost a month, but I wonder what everyone here thinks about him being chosen as the Perspolis Head Coach for the rest of the season, at least that's the latest from our club.

I approve him so far but except the game against Pas this is not the PP i wanna watch.
We havent lost a game so far which is great but we have some issue called bonbaste tactici.
What i've seen so far was that Peyrovani is not a pro analyst or bazi khoon .
But with Pas there was a totally different one, we had plan, good subs, motive and hunger for more goals, so i hope he keep the good work up.
Also he's gonna select his assistance very soon, lets hope for that too.

^credit should be given to the coach for any win, but you have to remember that even against PAS it could have been a different game if their forwards used their chances better in crucial points in the game and overall and as a team I didn't like how we played, I just liked the final score due to players like Karimi who can change a game around by themselves, but Karimi could have an off day and that's when you will see Perspolis fall apart easily as a team and never recover during a game due to Peyravani's lack of tactical flexibility and lack of experience as a coach. How fast will he learn is another question and I see that ability in him and 'till those days we have to hope Karimi, Haghighi/Vaezi, Petrovich, etc have great performances to pull the team forward.

You're right Red jan.
I Chose Option1 for 2 reason:

1. For getting good result so far
2. I dont want to see anymore change in coaching staff.

This is the worst time to change the coach, team is getting good result, player have shown motive and spirit.
100% wrong time to do that.

But as i said Peyrovani IMO lacks analyzing ability which i hope by selecting a good assistance would be solved.
But he showed leadership skill which is so important, he benched Rezaie 2 matches, he can sub Nikbakht with no tension.

I think he's doing pretty well....if he can win 2 out of the next 3 games, then PP should stick with him all the way!

Any news on when Khalili might return? PP desperately needs him.

I have no problem with our younger coaches getting a chance to coach, specially when they are such a gentleman as Peyrovani is.

but I really believe that a team like perspolis deserve a bigger coach. but what do I know? I thought signing Ghotbi was a wrong decision when PP management signed him the first time, and look at how that turned out.

^well said and Perspolis is not a place for young coaches to come in as an experiment.

I hate to say it again, but Peyravani needs to go and go soon...Perspolis under him reminds me of Perspolis under Nasser Ibrahimi. Perspolis is not a place to give coaches experience and be a trial for young coaches.

I had previously voted he needs more time, the break was enough time and everything that happened against Malavan today was unacceptable

He is very respected amongst Perspolisi's and I think he should step aside himself. He should know that hes still young and gots lots ahead of him, its just to early for him now, especially in such an important year, hope he makes the right decision

Mostafavi has to go! I read a while ago that they gave him some position in IFF or something and was/still am hoping its a polite way to put the guy aside

Ghotbi had 14 failed weeks, Peyrovani even though getting not so bad results uptill today, its not hard to say that we'll probably go no where with him ( team playing the same mess in all this years games )

we need a big name on the bench!!! enough of these first time analyzers and assistants, not much left till ACL

they paid Ghotbi/Marko/Decaramo gang a fortune, we could have had an amazing year with this year with some on big on the bench, they've ( Mostafavi and crew ) just fuc)ed up terribly this year and the future isn't looking bright at all
A big name can in my opinion is the only way to give a shock to this team, or at least Estili might be able to clean this mess up

yes I respect Afshin Peyrvani as a person and as a perspolisi, but when it comes to sacrifizing perspolis, I don't care who it is, he must go, NO individual is bigger than Perspolis, even when Ali parvin was hurting Perspolis we all agreed that he must go and go quick before perspolis gets hurt even more which it was, and afshin P, with all the respect we have for him, better get the hell out before his name is associated with certain names in Azadi by the fans.

See the matter is who's gonna replace him if he leaves.
If they would bring ( that i think so) some young or old vatani coach like Derakhshan, Khakpour, Estili or....I prefer Peyrovani to stay till end of season.
But if gonna be a good coach with a nice record and background then yes and a big yes..

^^^ if it gonna be Iranian it should definitely be either Peyrovani or Estilli
which do you guys think can do better?

Baba, get Denizli, the guy did everything for the club.
if he gets this squad, he will do amazing things.

his pp team played fluent football, if it wasn't for madanchi and his missed chances PP should have been champs that year. This squad is by far better than that one with better finishers!

Get LUKA, before it's too late.

this lazy bunch, needs a coach like Luka.

i even say estili better than peyravani at this point, although denizli would be a dream signing, and luka would work great as well.

If we want a new coach we have to hope for a management changes.
As far as these board are running PP we're gonna have the same staff.
I really hope Mostafavi leaves and Hedayati stays and someone with a great management knowledge replaces him then we can hope for a new good coach like Luka or Denizli otherwise forget it.
