Last them we played them in WCQ 2005 we had 35.000 spectators. Result was 1-0 for us btw, goal by Rahman Rezaei (45'), assisted by Yahya Golmohammadi.

I totally Agree..If we are expecting less than 40000 then dont expect a Win. This n korean side is very strong and our Fans should be wise and come and support. We need full stadium please. and Ali daei and the media should broadcast their call to everyone to come to stadium!!

one of the objectives of Dubai based Hashieh against TM in addition to hurt the morale
is to keep the fans away from TM games. These controversies won't help TM cause and
I am very sorry to see some of our players aid in such conspiracies against TM.

ya i am pretty sure they closed the upper deck of the stadium. not 100% positive though, but i remember something like that happening.
anyways, i think 50-60k is what will happen. i pray for a full house though!

yes but remember iran was BANNED from having a full stadium due to the events after japan game leading to death of a number of people. the second floor was closed to public and capacity was restricted to half by AFC. (although it would have not been a full house anyways but it would certainly have attracted more people if wasnt for the ban)

I actually that's it's official capacity, it's just we do "zoor chepoon" and fit close to 100k at times

I would say 40K-50K max... and that's because 90% of Persepolis fans(which is almost 50% of Iran population) won't go to Azadi because of ali daei.

If it was Persepolis-North Korea friendly, I would say +50K for sure. But in this case I say less than 50K.
