The only time UAE beat Iran was in a friendly match 3-1 in Abu Dhabi.

In 28 YEARS of official matches , the best results UAE achieved was 0-0 against Iran.

in 36 years of official competition with Team Melli , the best result that North Korea has achieved was 0-0 ( six times).

It took Saudi Arabia 9 years of competition before they managed to score a goals against Team Melli and took them 13 years before registering their first win against Iran by a solitary goal in Asian Cup 1988.
