I found a news about Jabbari : http://www.omplanete.com/3243/un-international-iranien-a-l-om.html
It's today

Translation :

The Iranian international player Mojtaba Jabbari, who already said to have been in negociations with OM in january, could come in the next days. The midfielder said to Tehran Times : "I had offers from German clubs, but I would prefer to go Marseille". He scored 6 goals in 53 matches with Esteghlal FC, and he is considered as a key player in that team. He missed WC 06 because of an injury. We cannot say if he will integrate himself to the Marseille's context (as I said before a lot of pressure there), but he has the advantage to be out of contract.

Seems to be serious now... :D

Me too :D
Anyway, we all know that Jabbari is not a liar like Sheys. Why would he do bazargarmi? If he has said that he is in negociations with Marseille, I trust him

Another news... Does he talk about Jabbari?

http://forum.lephoceen.fr/olympique-de-marseille/les-transferts-mercato-2008-2009/8669/la-surprise-de-jose-anigo.html

(José Anigo is the Sport Director of Marseille)

Traduction :

Anigo told about the coming of an unknown player and he has a "lot of hope" on him. Without saying a name, the sport director said : "He has a profile like Franck Ribery, he is a midfielder, and he can score... If I could convince the club that he is a good choice, it wouldn't be bad...

Remember that Jabbari said that it was the sport director of Marseille who seen him play..

http://www.omplanete.com, omplanet is a fan site dedicated to olympic marseille, it is not the official website. They probably check persian football or the other iran sports sites just like u, or one of the members of the forum sent the news to them. Some webmasters do a google for their team to get more news about them when there isn't much going on or for transfer speculations.

i'll believe it when i see it (he'll be wearing sky blue all right, ABiete!)

The first article simply quotes the sources we already know. But good to see some French sources at least spread this news as well.

as much as I like to see more Iranian players in Europe and as much as I like Jabari, I think he is making a big mistake by going to Europe. He should have stayed in SS. he is the key man in that team but in Marseille?
I hope for the best.

Come on, our players need to play in the best possible league against the best possible players in order to gain experience and to improve. He could also go to Singapore league and be a key player forever there, but that wouldn't really help our football.

Yes but Jabari just like Navidkia is a weak player. In europe you have to be physically very strong like Nekounam and Ando.
I meant he should be SS because he can help SS do well in the ACL and be the fans' favourite rather than going to Marseille and become another bench warmer.

No No, Jabbari should deffinatly move to Europe..

You dont allways have to be strong in Europe,
You need to be smart, Jabbari is a 1 touch player, Look up send great players, Open up defence's. Skillful, etc...

He is more then ready for a move to Europe, even a big move to a club like Marsielle where i belive he will have his fair shair even in his first season.

He should deffinatly stay in Esteghal where he has improved as much as he possibly can, And now is the next stage in his career where a move to Europe is crucial..

French League or Dutch League really suits Jabbari,

I belive Jabbari will be playing in Europe next season, Whether it be in Marsielle or another club, We just have to wait and see

& as Martin Reza said, We should deffinatly want our players to all be playing in the best Leagues in the World..Specially when they are as ready for such a move like Jabbari is atm
