sepahan playing a logical game and looking dangerous in a couple of instances. ittihad came close to scoring on at least three occasions but sepahan's back-up goalie is oing a good job so far. sepahan needs to bog down the midfield somewhat better than they have done in the first half and hit them on the break. too many long passes that end up nowhere. let's see what happens, the 2nd half will make or break sepahan. also, does anybody else think sepahan's left side is weak?

Very well said. However, one point to mention here, that is why I said the goal difference is a great deal when facing Kuruvchi. why? Because if Kuruvchi wins one of the two matches left and lose against us (In a scenario that we beat Syrians) then if we beat them 2-0 , then we have the same head to head situation. Then they will count goal difference so the best Scenario for us is that Kuruvchi loses to Al Itihad or tie against them then us beating them will send Sepahan through. Or if we score more than 2 goals...

One more question here, why are you so sure that Kuruvchi is going to win against Al Etihad? Al Etihad is a solid team. If they lost against Sepahan, the reason was Sepahan played well and a bit of luck therefore you can not be sure in football. Anything can happen. I myself think Al Etihad will go into the next match with full power. I think a tie would be a good prediction :)

Yes. I agree. Sepahan should have valued the first two matches more. However with a new coaching staff and many other issues they bounced back really good and against the best team of the group. If they had tied one of the first two matches, now they would be at a better situation :( I was so mad and disappointed those days but hey good for Sepahan, as a Perspolisi, I think they proved to all of us that any team with almost no hope can rise again and qualify.

And most important of all, three best second teams of the 7 groups will qualify to the knock out stage so the goal difference always matters


KURUVCHI will have 12 points after beating SAUDIS. This not an "even if" thing, that is a sure thing. I don't think you can earn 12 points with current 6 and only two games left. You will be playing an away game against a team you lost at home ( I am talking about Syrians).
