On the negative side he didn't have that many ball contacts and also defensively, despite being solid, he was not as aggressive as I have often seen him before. Yes, Ando going out, his final scene was a good control and pass again, but still he is taken out after exactly 70 mins.

A good first half and a below average 25 mins in second half by Ando. I must say he is one of few players with good technique in Bolton, most of them can't really do anything with the ball. I don't think they have a chance to beat Sporting, but in football you never know.

Please don't judge him without having seen first half. He really did very well there. I think he is not fully fit after barely playing, so after running like crazy he really was completely tired after 55 minutes.

Lots of the kids on the forum have only Karimi's video on youtube as football references...so of course they think Ando's performance was awful.

Bolton's overall display was poor. Sporting had the possession of the ball, so Ando's job was mainly defensive and he did a pretty job in the first half.

After the restart, he made poor judgements and appeared tired.

It was an OK performance in an overall weak Bolton side.

IMO Ando played well. The ground was too slippery and that made it harder to play a solid game. Ando was subbed because of change of tactics. The manager wanted to attack more. You could see that until Ando was subbed Bolton were playing defensively. Once they started to push forward they opened up at the back which enabled Sporting to penetrate much more than before.

Good performance by Ando. I give him 7 out of 10

Bolton fans obviously are disappointed. So they would blame even Khaje hafez shirazi.

Ando played a great team game. He actually was instrumental in holding out the game plan, which was to contain Sporting. Ando's passes were great and intelligent. He plays a bit like Nekonam but lacks some of Neko's attributes. He is a great player. I like his style of play. He got unlucky as in the early minutes of the game he received a yellow card, from then on he had to play cautiously. The ref seemed biased against him.

Positives:
A great team player;
Good and intelligent passes;
Ran tirelessly and covered the entire back and middle of the field;

Negatives:
Due to his early yellow card, didn't tackle much;
I cannot think of any other negatives!

His ball control was beyond poor, he gave away the ball far too many times, slipped a lot, had trouble closing down players, his tackling was reckless and I could see him getting a red if he wasn't brought off. I thought he was the 3rd worst player on the field next to Abdouley Meite and Ricardo Vaz Te. Understandably he hasn't had much playing time this season, but he should have been hungry. You could see he was upset with him self a couple of times when his touch was heavy... but he'll move on, hopefully stay in Europe and become stronger from his Bolton experience!

bolton team played poor last nite, but andraink wasnt bad at all. i think he was neutral. i dont think any other bolton player played better than him as they were all poor.

I must say the whole Lisbon team was terrible, they should had comfortably won at home against this side.

But it was clear Moutinho was a level above all his teammates, even though he himself was dragged down because of the lack of quality around him, a bit like Andranik to be fair.
