Hello all the PFDC members and true Iranian football fans.
I have a request for you guys ,.....I know :
Some of the players of TM are not fit,
some are injured ,....
some don't really deserve to be invited to TM.....
some of them play awful,....
but, that's not a logical reason to treat them like they have a "duty" of being fit or the way we want or need them to be . I mean it's just one side , and the other side is that they're HUMANS just like us , they have their personal lives, their problems , and it's clear that they have ups and downs in their career, I say it generally about all the Players and especially "Zandi" , because I have seen that some of members have insulted him during the recent months. I don't deny that Fery is not the same player, that’s the reason why he was crossed off from the squad, but it's not fair to bash him or insult him just because he has fallen ! :nono: He has been through a hard road since he selected Iran and especially during the recent months...He is not a kind of person to have 1000 interviews with all Iran papers and do some "efsha gari" ! but he has been offended by many of the "Regime" and federation chairmen.. when he chose Iran he thought that his situation would be better but it got worse .... that's what he said ... His career is NOT over and I promise you he'll find himself a club by the end of Jan .... all he needs is your support .... He is trying hard to find his way back . promise you guys ...
Thank you for reading :)

I don't know why he hasn't been playing for anyone since asian cup. At the very least i'd go to an arab team and make some money. I feel sorry for the poor guy. Because his farsi is not good, other players make fun of him. In reality I think they are jealous because he is better looking and has lived a better life than most players in Iran. Zandi has a lot of class and plays beautiful football. I wish him the best and hope that 2008 will be a great year for him and his family

By saying that, you are insulting Iran's football. Don't even ask me why, you should know it yourself.

Your thread is Pethatic!
Your absolute nonsense starts when u start accusing everyone in Iran because Zandi can't find a club?
You have to explain what u type..U can't just type anything comes to ur mind..So answer this..Why is Zandi angry with some people in Iran again? What did they do to him?
He didn't have a club, yet he played in the asian cup...
blaming everyone is the easiest thing to do..Zandi shouldn't even be invited to the 100 players list simply because he doesn't have a team..
Him sacrifing himself for TM is total crap..TM gave him a chance to shine in WC..
get a life!

Your opinion is respectable my friend , but please put yourself on his shoe , for a minute (nothing more, just a minute ) and see what would you do if you were him.
that's unfair to say he selected Iran because of the chance of playing in WC , because he never got it. I don't say that he sacrificed himself by choosing Iran, ofcourse he considered his own profit aswell, as he told me once that " when he chose Iran he thought it would be better for him but it got worse" but he never said it in a public newspaper , he always used to say that everything is alright and all the Iranians (including people and federation and team ) embraced me with open arms !
just see what Dejagah did and then compare it to what he did.
when I say he is offended by the federation and regime it means that they did something wrong to him that you don't know and i can't explian it here. (it has nothing to do with people ) but just for your information, many of them didn't get happy when he was called up to TM for the first time. they were awaiting for a opportunity to bash him.:nono: the last time they invited him and then crossed him off the squad , what does it mean ? it would be much better if they didnt invite him at all . I suggest you to compare his situation before and after selecting Iran and tell me what would you do if you were him ?
and about his club , he could join a UAE team or a team in IPL anytime, like many other players . but he didn't. That's what is called "Professionalism " and when he doesn't have a team , it doesn't mean that he is sitting at home and watch TV ! he is training with some teams in germany and also Cyprus. ( he used to train with Olympia***) in order to keep himself fit.
any questions ?! :)

See my friend ,
I'm not Fery's agent to defend him for personal purposes.
just as an Iranian ....plz think for a minute .....
YES, he is fallen now... but did he have the same situation before he selectes Iran ???
have you ever noticed that his style and class of playing is different with other players ???

zandi is a good player and nobody insulted him,all people say is that its very unprofesionall to be without a job(team) for more than a year+you can't say that his season with appolon was good, cyprus is worst in europe.
i don't know, maybe we see zandi as a good player but in europe compared to others on his position maybe he has no chance.still i want zandi in TM,if iran was a strong team i would say even if he is good, without a team he shouldnt be invited, but irans team is so weak that even the zandi of this situation could help
i had high hopes after wc 98,look where we are today, before every match you have to pray 50 times god please let iran win, when we had ali daei etc u at least had a feeling that nothin very bad can happen, today it can

1.He never got a chance in WC?well he was injured otherwise he was set to start in all matches..He did start against Angola..I guess that's Iran's fault too ,him being injured.
2.If u can't say it here then why bother open a thread without giving info?
3.Yes not having any team is called professionalism..I'm really learning something here..If I remember he used to play in Cyprus NO??WOW their leaguen is really better than UAE or IPL!
4.Oh does he really train?WOW I'm so surprised..Look I'm no professional and I train 2 hours everyday to stay fit..
Look I really like Zandi,I have nothing against him but people like u who become obsessed with Zandi and try to find every explanation to defend him have to face reality ..
BTW ur explanations (if there were any)were really lame..

Guys relax!
Zandi was very unlucky after the WC. His former agency (Rogon) is a agency full of mafiosis. They just were after the commission and sold him. YES you can say sold him, because they didnīt even care about his future.
I know from different newspapers that he also had some personal issues when he was here, so he needed a change of "ab - o - hava" and thatīs why he went to Cyprus.
Everybody has the opinion that this was wrong. But as reported he wanted to get his mind free of all these things.
Itīs obvious that joining a good team after having played in Cyprus and then not having played for a while is difficult, but as everybody knows, he was a very good player who can become a good player again, if the luck comes back!
So please, donīt get insulting to each other, the winter transfer window is still open until january 31st. 3 more weeks to go.
Heīll have a club definitely. Either England or Belgium like Iīve heard in news.
Best regards,
A.B.

I hope you are right about Zandi coming back strong pooya jan, but I doubt it.
Anyway, I understand your point, but being a football pro is not a bad job. You basically work 2-4 hours a day, 6 days a week and get paid very well.
The price for that is what you described, being fit and performing most of the time, no matter what.
And being a national team player should be an honor for everyplayer, beside that it also increases the market value.
If a player doesn't get along with that due to whatever reason, he must find another job that suits him better, like Deisler did.

i understand wut ur trying to do here and i agree that we shuldnt insult/bash a man who basically sacrificed his career to represent our country, and hes played pretty well for us in the past
but to say that it is OK for a professional athlete to be unfit or out of shape is ridiculous!! its your friggin career!!! if i wuz a pro soccer player id be training non-stop everyday, whether i had a team or not!! and id spend every single day doing wut i can to find a club, and id make sure i have an agent who knows wut hes doing
to be without a club for a few months is stupid but understandable.. but when a national team has asked u to represent your country and u waste an entire year without even playing for a club, there is no excuse
and you should never EVER be out of shape!! this is the very LEAST we could ask of zandi.. he shuld be training by himself every single day because hes not gonna get too many chances to prove himself so he has to make the best of every opportunity
his trial at bristol was terrible.. had he been training and preparing for this trial he shuld have made everyone else there look stupid!! he has the skill and the mentality to be a great player (as he wuz before) and i loved him in team melli.. but one cant help to wonder wtf is going thru this guys head right now!

I tottaly agree with you about trying to find a club my friend , I can't deny that it's not logical for a pro to stay without a club for about a year, but all i'm trying to say is that it doesn't mean that some people allow themselves insult the player just because he is not fit ! it sounds unfair. i don't mean you or other members who critisize Fery politely . but I have read some of the posts about Fery by SOME members. I warned one of them that if he continue using insulting words he is against his personal-life and his family not Zandi as a player.and now he is pretending that I threated him ! I wonder what "threat" means in his dictionary  he even says that I threated him to call his father :nono: ! I even didn't talk about calling anybody. I wonder what he talks about ! maybe there was a mis-understanding there:rolleyes: or perhaps he has been partying too much recently .
All I say is that respect the players as a Human being. :)
By the way as alibaba_b-town said Fery has some offers from teams in england and belgium and he is having conversations with that teams :)

Well actually i can't say because i'm not aware of. this is something just between a player and his agent that which teams he wants to have conversations with or which teams he may sign. all I know is that Fery is working on English clubs and he also has some conversations with gemran clubs too. some other european teams also want to test him. including a team from Belgium leauge. and some Greek teams aswell. that's all i've got to know. anyway I'll try to find out more info and tell you more details as soon as possible.

zandi grew up in the german system... this is valuable. even if he doesnt have a club he should play for us. you saw how easily he converted his penalty and scored that nice free kick against that china. overall he played good compared to our other players. he should at least be a sub.

one of the most amazing penalties to me, he just walked up and hit it, no keeper can know where that ball is gonna go with that technique!
