i think mehdi can still play when in WC 2010, but i dont think vahid will be good enough then. i think someone is gonna have a breakthrough and replace him (khalili, amraei, meidavoodi, etc) Vahid would be 33 in WC 2010, mehdi will be 32.

he cant retire with an own goal man... he needs to retire on the day we qualify (if) to the world cup 2010, that would be a perfect ending.

in my opinion daei should have retired after the last game of the world cup qualifiers, would've been a great ending to his amazing career. he ended up having a terrible ending which is a shame :(

i was under the impression that a new list is given for the second round of the qualifiers...it would only make sence that teams are given the chance to make changes as we are talking about a two year time.

رحمان رضايي گفت: از اين كه دوباره به تيم ملي دعوت شده*ام خوشحالم.

مدافع باسابقه فوتبال ايران كه در پايان رقابت*هاي جام ملت*هاي آسيا 2007 از تيم ملي خداحافظي كرد، قصد بازگشت به فوتبال ملي را دارد.

رضايي در گفت*وگو با خبرنگار ورزشي خبرگزاري دانشجويان ايران (ايسنا)، اظهار كرد: خدمت و بازي كردن در تيم ملي براي من افتخار است اما، بايد با سرمربي جديد تيم ملي درمورد مسايل مربوط به خداحافظي*ام صحبت كنم و وي را در جريان اين موضوع قرار دهم.

وي تصريح كرد: خداحافظي من به اين معنا نيست كه براي هميشه از تيم ملي جدا شوم. همانطور كه بسياري از بزرگان فوتبال تيم ملي را كنار گذاشته*اند و در شرايطي كه تيم به آنها احتياج داشت، مجددا بازي كرده*اند.

مدافع ملي*پوش ادامه داد: هم اكنون از لحاظ آمادگي بدني هيچ مشكلي ندارم و خداحافظي من علت خاصي نداشت. اگر شرايط مهيا باشد دوباره براي تيم ملي به ميدان مي*روم.

رضايي افزود: با توجه به اين كه طي چند سال اخير براي خودم وقت نگذاشته*ام، اگر كارهايم كمي سبك*تر شود، مي*توانم مجددا در خدمت تيم ملي باشم.

وي با اشاره به اين كه از دعوتم به تيم ملي خبر نداشتم، خاطرنشان كرد: به صورت قطعي نمي*توانم بگويم كه در اردوهاي تيم ملي شركت مي*كنم و اين موضوع پس از صحبت*هايم با سرمربي جديد مشخص خواهد شد اما، خودم دوست دارم كه در ليست نهايي قرار گيرم.

رضايي درخصوص وضعيت تيم ملي نيز تاكيد كرد: تيم ملي پس از دوري شش ماهه از مسابقات بين*المللي در آرامش به سر مي*برد و بنابراين شرايط براي بازي در آن بهتر شده است. هر چند كه بازيكنان دعوت شده نيز از لحاظ سني جوانتر شده*اند.

مدافع تيم ملي با اشاره به حريفان ايران در مرحله*ي مقدماتي جام جهاني به ايسنا گفت: با تمام احترامي كه براي حريفان قائلم اما، آنها هيچ حرفي براي گفتن ندارند و اگر بازيكنان ما كمي باهوش عمل كنند، در مرحله*ي مقدماتي تمام امتيازات را مي*گيريم.

وي نبود سرمربي براي تيم ملي را زيان*آور دانست و يادآور شد: هر چند كه چند ماهي از نداشتن سرمربي ضرر ديده*ايم اما، مهم اين است كه وي در شرايط فعلي و در اين مدت زمان كوتاه، بازيكنان را بشناسد و تيم را جمع و جور كند.

رضايي در پايان درباره*ي شرايط خود در ليورنو گفت: تا شروع تابستان با اين تيم قرارداد دارم. هم اكنون با كمك مدير برنامه*هايم با تيم*هاي مختلف ايتاليايي در حال مذاكره هستيم تا پس از اتمام قراردادم به عضويت باشگاه ديگري درآيم.
