Kaebi Could Leave Leicester For Persepolis

Leicester City’s Iranian star Hossein Kaebi is ready to leave the Foxes if his benchwarming days continue.

The winger has struggled to make the starting eleven since moving to England in the summer and is hopeful that the arrival of new coach Ian Holloway will herald a new beginning at the Walkers Stadium.

"Leaving Leicester City is an option, but at the moment I am not thinking about this issue much,” Kaebi told ***************.com.

“I haven’t made my decision yet. With the new coach appointment in Leicester City, I’m looking forward for a chance to prove myself and hope that my situation changes at the club."

"My agent is set to come to England to talk to Leicester officials. If my time on the bench continues then I will consider leaving City."

The 22 year-old has been linked with a return to Tehran giants Persepolis.

"Although I say it again, leaving Leicester City is the last option, and I hope to find my spot in the starting 11. Also considering Holloway was previously QPR coach, a team that the Iran National team played a friendly against, he may know me better."

The sooner the better... That team is rubbish anyway. His talent is being wasted.

a professional player must consider his future...being benched at second tier english team means he won't be invited to TM due to lack of playing time and eventually no other club can recognize his potential...by playing for Perspolis he will at least have his starting spot back in both Perspolis and TM assuming he is the same old quality player and that can lead to better offers eventually coming to him after playing for TM and Perspolis regularly.

If he doesn't play at his club, he must leave and come back to Iran,,,he has said repeadedly that in Iran he ONLY playes for Perspolis, and he is more than welcome as all Perspolis management and staff have said that in the past few months.

I had my doubts about him going to Europe and being successful.. he is too small for their Standard... he can help some Iranian clubs (such as PP) because by comparison , Iranian football is far far below Europe..

kaabi could fill in a RT midfield position and give that side some speed.. or Replace Niki or Fatemi at forward Position

it would have been better for him if he signed for a blackburn and to be bench-warmer for a premiership than team that may not play in the championship next year!

Even in Persepolis he can't be sure of playing. If we bring Kaebi, we should replace him with someone on our starting eleven.
Khalili, Nikbakht, Nouri, Sheys, Heydari, Nosrati, Bagheri, Ashoobi, Aghaei, Badamaki?
I'm Persepolisi and I like Kaebi, but I have to say: No place for Kaebi this season, Sorry.

there goes that little bit of eruopean club interest in him...! if he goes back so soon, that would be a huge teller about his potential of making another eurpean club later..!
his diminutive size was always a big concern and a question mark for the European clubs before and his recent inability to break a championship starting line-up is not gonna look good at all on his resume and his future European endeavors..! in short I Dont think he is gonna ever get out of middle east again if he was to return back to IPL...!
as bad as it seems for him right now, IMO he should at least remain till the end of this year and work harder towards a starting birth...! lcfc talent pool blows although they have a huge roster, and at some point...they are gonna have to take some chances on him..!
....perhaps as a RM...!!? where his size may not be such a big issue..!

one thing for sure....although he is not playing regular first team football, i have no doubt that he is currently in a better form than he was playing regularly for PP last year...!!

I would rather see him atleast play and have a chance at excelling in the IPL then not even play on a european team.

maybe he should go to saipa, play in ACL and expose himself to the world again hopefully for more european offers! besides, perspolis doesnt need kaabi as much as saipa will specially with saipas disaster state right now!

Well, not many players are as small as kaebi. I think even Messi is taller than him. I don't know a single good player with his size except Maradona, but he is good.

Damarcus Beasly(not quite successful but plays in Europe) , SW Phillips, Owen, Crouch (lanky physique), sneijder and I'm sure there are many more.

All the players u mentioned are above 170 except Shaun Wright phillips. Kaebi is below 170.
But again kaebi is much thiner compared to those fit guys. If he wants to play in europe he should work on his body and make it muscular like R.Carlos, S.W.Phillips, etc.
