Close thread....no offense to you mind...but Dejagah sold his nation short....we do not want him...football is not everything.....I want a TM player with pure gheyrat of his country like Daei, Azizi and Nekounam, Andranik and Arash Borhani....Dejagah does not possess this....and if he changes his mind I STILL would not welcome him as he is not committed to Iran.

Even if he wanted to play for Iran, he can't anymore..he's already 21, which only gives him the possibility to play for Germany(FIFA RULES).
Just let it go, you can make thread about him if you like to but he don't make threads about him playing for Iran.

I cannot believe the level of stupidity within this forum. first of all, read my ****in post again, stop being so hot-headed and think of the situation for a second. i asked is there any chance of Shafer convincing Ashkan for TM. If u guys are to retarded to think back to a couple of years ago when Hashemian refused to play for TM after being asked several times. However, Branko talked to him, and it changed his mind.

For the ppl who say he is not eligible to play for TM, i will say it again...yes he is. according to FIFA rules, Kanoute was not allowed to play for Mali, however a small apeal will change their view.

Im not being optimistic, u guys are just being hot-headed and retarded. FINE, gooreh bedareh ashkan, but im just analyzing the current situation.

For the love of god, can we all get off the Dejagheh case? What is this obsession with Dejagheh and Zandi.
Zandi even doesn't have a club and people still have threads about him and mourn his loss and all that.
This guy (Dejagheh) wants to play for Germany, if he doesn't get the invite then he might consider us (it was the same with Zandi btw), so all we need to do is sit and wait. He is a good player and all, but for the love of god, this guy isn't Ronaldinio or Tiery Henry.

Dejagha is a German plain and simple and if he did decide to suddenly change his mind and come to TM (only will if he doesnt make the German Senior Team) id tell him to go pound sand. If Dejagah joins us, it will only be a bonus and something to be happy about..BUT If he doesnt..Mark my Words we havent lost anything as we posses enough talent in that Midfield position not to have a cry over his loss.

But understand what Soaz is saying too guys, All he is saying is, Maybe Shaefer will work hard to get Dejagah because he would want such and such player in his position and system...

for christ sake, i dont believe this. this even if u give me one or two examples it could be due to the fact that they werent important figueres. KEY FACT: IF MALI WERE ABLE TO DO IT, WE SURE AS HELL CAN AGAIN! there are either RULES or not!

Kanoute's case is like Zandi's case - the law changed in between their time and Dejagah's so they made exceptions. Ashkan is not one of them.

Kanoute wasn't 21 anymore when the rule was made, so they made a exception for him (and he changed NT right after the rule was made). Dejagah had like 2 years to decide, but he didn't, so FIFA wouldn't make a exception for. He can't play for Iran.

P.S. I'm 100% sure that after my post people still go and say we don't want Dejagah if he comes, or we want Dejagah

One more thing, if we want Etemadi the goalkeeper of SC Heereveen, we must act fast as he's already 20.
