also did you guys know that the biggest baseball star currently in Japan is an Iranian-Japanese player named Dariush Yu, Irnaian dad Japanese mom.

i agree, but i'm sure taha didn't know that. i've changed the title of the thread for him.

funny you should mention it taha, i found him accidently a couple of days ago :D he plays for nakazawa's team. it's strange he has a japanese surname if his dad is iranian. japanese don't use their surnames as their first names, whoever said that is confusing them with koreans...
and yeah he looks japanese, yet very iranian at the same time :D

I know him.
He'll be the first Iranian baseballer to play in Major League Baseball.
Lots of American teams want him.

Darvish is vey famous and the most talented player in Japan right now.
He got one of the biggest prize for pitcher in Japan this year.
He chose Japanese nationality some days ago, so now he can play for
Japanese National Baseball team.
I heard his father(His name is Farsa Darvis If I'm not wrong) was footballer
and he played for EsEs or something...I'm not sure...so his father wanted him to play football.
Also, he is some kind of pop star because of his style..actually,he is very good looking!!...and he engaged with Japanese idol star.
