i dunno..i think nashat akram deserves it more than younis mahmoud. he is iraqs best player and most crucial player in my opinion.

Emotions aside , I don't think any Iranian players have done enough to even make the list , let alone win it. Nekounam was not up to his good standard in AC07 then he got injured. Sayed Salehi was good in a few matches in Sepahan AFC where he scored golas , but he got injured as well. So , based on performance , these two players were flash in the pan.

Nashaat Akram , probably deserves it as well , but there is one winner and the goals Younis scored will give him the edge, I think.

Nekonaum deserves it.

Best player on a LA LIGA team, made the top 22 in La Liga, made the All-UEFA team. Nekonaum played against hte likes of Deco, Torres, Ronaldinho, Messi, Diarra etc. That's much better than a player doing well in just one tournament, a tournament, quite frankly was very weak this edition with weak-ass players.
