They are forcing their national team players to take history
lessons on Jewish holocaust, of course, not for brainwashing.
One way he can avoid these lessons is to defect to Iran

Young German players to receive history lessons
BERLIN, Oct 23 (Reuters) - Germany's soccer federation (DFB) said on Tuesday it was planning history lessons for young German internationals after an Iran-born player on the under-21 team caused controversy by withdrawing from a match against Israel.
"We must have an intellectual discussion with every boy and girl who comes to us ... about what Germany is," the Berliner Morgenpost daily quoted DFB President Theo Zwanziger as saying.
DFB sporting director Matthias Sammer and senior team manager Oliver Bierhoff were preparing an educational programme, Zwanziger said, adding that an examination of Germany's past was necessary for youngsters with immigrant backgrounds.
DFB spokesman Harald Stenger confirmed the plan.
The DFB's move comes after Ashkan Dejagah, an Iran-born German under-21 international, withdrew from a European Championship qualifier against Israel for "personal reasons".
Dejagah, who plays for Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg, was born in Tehran and holds both German and Iranian passports.
Since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Iran has refused to recognise Israel's right to exist and Iranian citizens are forbidden from travelling to Israel.
Dejagah's withdrawal stirred controversy after mass-selling daily Bild earlier this month quoted the player as saying his decision not to play was politically motivated.
Good relations with Israel are a top priority in Germany because of the Holocaust, in which some 6 million Jews were murdered by the Nazis.
Germany's top Jewish organisation and some politicians demanded the player be excluded from the national soccer team.
Last week Zwanziger said Dejagah had requested not to play in the Israel match out of concern for family members still in Iran and that he would retain his place on the national team.

The last time the Germans "programmed" their people, 6 million jews died. I think the Germans should lay off of the "programming" for a while.

No offense but why is everyone on this forum obsessed with this guy?...he has nothing to do with Iran besides his nationality...He doesn't want to play for Iran, he wants to to play for Germany.. I see dejagah threads every 3 seconds on this forum....dejagah got a hair cut, dejagah considering Iran AGAIN, Dejagah brushed his teeth, dejagah loves Germany....the point is he's not playing for Iran and he never has...so until such a day comes (which I'm sure it won't) pls stop obsessing over this guy....we have so much talent in Iran that are alrdy capable of playing in better clubs than this guy....they just haven't been discovered yet. I think personally 80% of the players in IPL are capable of joining European teams....you guys want dejagah cause of striker problem etc etc...and I bet after 2 days of him being in team melli and playing a few bad games you'll start bashing him like Enayati and Khatibi....

AN is just a low-life bluff. Ashkan is torn between to identities:
1- A German identity that persecuted Jews and feels so guilty about it
2- A Persian identity that rescued Jews from complete annihilation twice in history

dejagah is injured for several weeks i read today,he got injured on saturdays game and paper says they dont know how long he will be injured,i guess 1-2 month.maybe because germany plays israel in 3 weeks ? :D

I think if Ashkan is playing for germany then he shouldn't refuse to play with Israel.I understand why players in iran do, because it's not as if they have a choice.
On the other hand this whole course thing is so sad. they are being more catholic then the Pope and it's just too fake. U can't force info like that on people when ur being so fake.

after allied pillage. we do not even have the counts but census taken
before and after the world war shows 3 million Iranians missing in statistics
millions of Polish perished in Stalin's Siberian camps, some managed to flee to Iran

very good decision and proud to see an iranian immigrant playing for the german national team. shows the success of the first generation of iranian immigrants in germany.
the fact that he did not play in israel is totally normal. his family will suffer as many iranian who had a trip in israel had such harassment by the IR.
