Perspolis & Sepahan are #1 contenders to win IPL

After week 3 it is evident that these 2 teams are the best in Iran so far and though I am a perspolisi I just don,t undrestand what is wrong with Esteghlal.
Sepahan to me has the best chance to win then my team Perspolis is a close second.

But we still have a long way to go so who knows.

i have predicted a totally crazy ipl with several teams in the race up to the end

so, no one really knows. this is a very long league. with 18 teams we have
31 more games to go and anything can happen. remember ss-ahvaz last season?

ofcourse sepahan is the best iranian team in terms of consistency and professionalism. I'm sick of them winning Hafzi Cup and qualify to ACL now i want them to win IPL, i'm sure they can do it

A very important reason for Sepahan's success is simply money. They are one of the few clubs in our so called pro football that have the economical backup not to worry about paying salaries and most importantly not to lose a lot of their players every year, so they're able to keep the core of the team and make a few adjustments by buying the needed players.

Well one thing is for sure, and that is that Esteghlal needs to get its act together if they want to be a contender. They can not continue playing this way

PP and Sephan will be among the contenders, but they are not alone.. a little too early to predict.. don't forget IPL has ended in dramatic fashion many times before and I don't expect it to be any different this year...but then again, would it be that surprising if this a year an IPL team has won the title a few weeks before the end?? I guess we'll see..


I haven't seen Sephan yet this year, they are a power house anyways.. still, you can't count SS out.. they got a ton of players there so they might jell and be very formidable.. they lost a lot of scoring chances today..

Sepahan will be concentrating on the AFC CL..But i think its really early to say.....

For example am predicting Saipa will bounce back and be strong..!!!

when was the last time perspolis beat sepahan, i cant remember i think never. they always lost to sepahan so if perspolis and sepahan are though contenders then sepahan has the edge because defeating perspolis will give them an edge

The last time was IPL next year, the first leg in Esfehan was 0-0 and the return leg in Tehran was:
PP 2 (Hajizadeh, Madanchi)- Sepahan 1 (Navidkia).

1- last year Sepahan won in penalties and then 4-1, both in HAZFI CUP.

2- You claimed something without checking the facts first and I reminded you how it was, now if you wanna bring back all the records and dig in history, well go ahead, good for you, but then there are a lot more matches between the two in the league history but that's not the point here.

i too think these 2 teams have a higher chance than the rest...
esteghlal tehran, esteghlal ahvaz, saipa are the other contenders who will need more of a luck to win the trophy...

perspolis squad is stronger, but sepahan is more professional team.

so nothing is clear... once injuries, suspensions, TM games and hashieh kicks in, a lot will change...
