I am a growing talent in the UK at the age of 17, coached my QPR and represented them in 2006 and also being coached by former Team Melli player, Nader Mohammad Khani. I am a dedicated player and also finish my studies next year. My plan is to move to Iran and trial for a team there and also hopefully play for my one and only country, Iran. If any of you have questions or comments, feel free to ask.
Many Thanks

What position do you play?

The good thing is i normally play left or central midfield due to being both footed but i do like to play as a striker alongside a good partner. I am motivated and determined to make it. I just want some advice and also some help to make it. My agent is available to come with me next year to talk to any teams and also organise my place.
What is your opinion on this?

I hope so man i really do! i train alot just to be at the top level. Hopefully they will notice it. I think it is an advantage as well due to me being from UK and moving to iran with references and a agent to play there. Dont you think?

what team in Iran do you intend to try out for?

Estghalal,Sepahan are the main 2 but there are Pas,Perspolis and Saipa. Any top iranian team would be fine but I want to achieve this and also represent my country, Iran. What do u think?

I think in terms of the environment and atmosphere for a new player Pas would be the best choice, and Id go with Taj and Persepolis last. Best thing to do unless you already have a lot of contacts there is to just go up there, ask them to let you train with them for awhile without pay, and after a relatively short period of time they'll decide whether you can be useful or not, and then you can get a contract and pay

That is good. I can train with all the teams and if I am good enough one of them are bound to pick me and then I can sign a contract. This is a very good opinion which i will take into account but another question. How do i get into these teams? What are they looking for and what do i need to show them? and how do i get into team melli?

And how is the pay in Iran for footballers?

Most people get in either through youth systems or party bazi. You can however just show up and ask for a tryout. Theres no particular formula that they look for in a player, if you're any good they'll pick u up and if not then they wont. My best advice however would probably be to focus on "ghodrat badani". Work out as much as you can, upper and lower body because thats critical in going far in Iran and thats what they look for. Thats not to say that you need huge muscles, thats impossible for a soccer player or anyone that runs as much as a soccer player, but rather just build strength, it may not show. And the pay for an average player is mediocre, if you're in it for the pay then you may probably want to stay in the UK.

I have been working on my fitness and stamina mainly but also my strength as I am 6 foot 1 in height (187cm) and am really strong on and off the ball. another advantage is being able to play with both feet. But my main concern is finding a team but hopefully it shoud be ok.

it really depends wat r ur priorities...
if u go to esteghlal or perspolis, money wise, it wont be good for u cos they never pay salaries on time.
however, ur guaranteed partialities from the officials..
and besides, because every esteghlal and perspolis game is broadcasted to 70million iraianins in iran, u will be easily in the spotlight and picked up and talked about very soon and even invited to TM much easier than playing for other clubs.
however, playing in esteghlal and perspolis is hard. first, there is tough competition. secondly, there will be a lot of bullshit and rumour regarding ur team, ur coaches, ur team mates, and eventually u. u should be able to handle all this "hashiye", if u can and ur strong enough mentally, u will succeed for sure.
however, if u wanna earn money whle playing, teams like pas, sepahan, saba battery, saipa and esteghlal ahvaz pay good money because they belong to big industrialists of iran. however, u wont be under the spotlight that easily and it will for sure take longer for people to realize ur talent and coaches start considering u....
in my opinion, ur quite young, and if ur as talented as u sound, and considering the not very good crop of iranian players currently, specially in the attack line, i think its a good chance for u to try to go to esteghlal or perspolis to get into TM or atleast into peoples eye.
then u can transfer to a good european team faster..
ofcourse, for all this to happen, u will require a lot of hardwork and committment, and dont be surprised if u see strange things happening inside and outside the camp. its iran, anything can happen. to be successful, u need to cope with the environment. just do ur work, and try to avoid trouble as much as possible.
good luck, will sure keep u in my mind hoping to see u in TM jersey one day :)

Thats very good advice...That will sure help me when i go to Iran. Being 18, I am mentally strong and also am dedicated to the game! But one question which remains, will I be treated equally as I am moving to Iran from the UK? and would I need to bring certain things from UK with me?

hehhee..u remind me of siavash akbarpour..
btw, dont u have any football pics??
and ur going from UK, i think that wont be a big problem as long as u can speak good farsi and can communicate well with ur team mates and and mingle with them. there might be some cultural clashes, but if u can keep it close with ur team mates, ur problems will be minimal.
