Ok, the world cup is out of our grasp, and yes we will still enjoy watching the remaining games, but we’re not really in it anymore.

The qualifiers for the Asian cup 2007 will continue almost right after the WC is over. Now that Australia is taking part, (I never understood why they let them into the AFC) what do you think our chances are of winning? I think it will be a chance for TM to prove themselves in a smaller arena.

Valid question but don't you think it is quite early to tell ??

we have no coach at the moment and by the time one is appointed with his players selection , style & tactics , we should have a much better idea on the prospects.

On paper howevere, I believe we have one hell of promising young team and many other quality players waiting in the wings. Good enough to be Asian Champions.

Very true. Iran's playing some match at azadi in august am i right? If yes, who are they playing? I dunno but syria keeps popping in my head...

Its an asian cup qualifier i think...
