Players such as Karimi,Mahdavikia,Rezaei,Hashemain dont show up to the Asian cup
or the big qualifying games such as VS S.Korea
I couldnt blame them either, Even tho i know they wont do such a thing and will fight hard to regain the pride of Iran i wouldnt be suprised
But the thing is for these players the only way for them to erase the bad memories of This World cup and get their morale and pride up again is to win this coming Asian cup,
Seriously dont u think its a dissepointment for Iran to go into this tournament and dont walk out as winners ?
Last time we were the best team and we know it, But we were clearly cheated in the Semifinals
I know that in 2010 World cup we will have a even better squad then this one in 2006
But Asian Cup is very important for us, Cause we all know our preperation ahead of a World cup is not allways so good
But WINNING Asian Cup, Will give us Confederations Cup;) And Thats Massive
I know players such as specially Hashemain,Karimi,Mahdavikia and Rezaei are severly frustrated but they shouldnt let this ruin their careers in international level
They are better then this just to let go and give up,
We are not losers, Iran will allways remain HEAD High
We have some huge tournaments coming up for us to the buildup for 2010
Some people say Karimi,Hashemain Mahdavikia Rezaei should let go now and leave but u dont understand by 2010 World cup these players will be in their early 30s and be around 31-32
We will need them and 2010 will be their Farwell World Cup
But who am i to judge the future, All i am saying is we know these players are frustrated, But They should look at it in a bright side
for the youngsters in our team this have been a extreme experience and it will be sooooo benefitial for us in the future even tho we lost:)
Future is bright, This is just the hard times of being a Team melli fan, The good times will come
Also i am really looking forward to see Enayati,Khatibis time in Team melli ending and seing Oladi,Akarpour settling in thoose positions, far more facinating strikers
With Haan in charge i can tell u right now many of these players in the current national team will be seing their time in team melli ending,
Under Haan noones position is fixed and thats what i like
