that's right, we need to lose all 3 games to finally wake up and realise we are doing everything wrong.

we need a football revolution in iran. football schools, coaching schools, get rid of all the old players and bring in fresh talent, play better opponents, get fitter and improve our stamina more than our dribbling.

i'm not sad today. this is a big lesson for iranian football. maybe now finally we will wake up and stop hoping for a lucky goal here and there.

i know we have the potential to be world class one day, we just need the right tools to help bring out that potential.

thats my exact point, no ones doubting that karimi is our best player, but if he's not 100% then he's shit, lats two games he was awful. I know for a fact that a hungry player like kazemian, shojaei or borhani would play better than karimi over the last two games.

I don't quite agree with you on that man. True, we need to invest more in our younger players, but that's far from finding the solution to our problems. Iranian players in general, need a change of mentality, a paradigm shift when they're on the field. And that is have a better vision on the field in passing. It always seems so congested when we play against good teams, because I don't think we have ever successfully completed a field over pass from one wing to the other wing. For us to make that world class jump to become teams like Portugal, Mexico, Spain etc.., we need to hone our passing skills especially when we pass to from one side of the field to the other. Or else we are just gonna be a decent team of bagheyrat players.
I think the the solution lies in the coach and how much emphasis he puts in practice on passing, and also the mentality of young iranians on the streets. Everywhere it seems to be the same overzealous dribbling by our youth, in which you see that hasn't even amounted to good ball control by our TM, especially in this world cup.

We are the worst team playing in wc! even angola plays beter than us. just saudis impressed from the asia! i shame myself when i talk about iranian football and footballers, and all that the play in bundesliga!!!! they all should be fired from their clubs, (except Mehdi). they even cant send a correct pass to each other!! my club in my city Lillehammer plays way better than them! god damn it that such beatifull country has such an ego based players who try just to show off on the field and make shame out of their people and themselfs!
i'm so upset that i'm not gonna watch the last match!!!
