Thanks god, I think he finally realized that he is not fast enough for other players in this World Cup. He has done a great job as a decoy in the past, but speed is more important for all teams.

I hope Enayati gets a chance to play, and he should have come in for Daee yesterday next to Borhani when we were behind. I just don't understand what happenned to our third Substitution?

It was Mirzapour's usual bad kicking that started the whole thing and then Rezaei ( who was playing very well up to then) fumbled and the rest is history.

My seat was very close to Iran's goal and let me tell you something...The boyz played very well defensively. Rezaei was ruling supreme in the air and Golomo was sweeping the ground Kabei was awesome.

It was very vey heartbreking to concede those two late goals...

If I was thge coach , I will maintain the same or similar game plan , but change Daei and Nosrati....that is about it.

I stick to 4-2-3-1 formation and bring Zandi as a very fast thinker instead of Daei. As you know we played 4-2-2-2 and this never suited us bec of Karimi being too far from the box (left mid).

If you wanna risk all your cards and go for either glory or disaster, I would go with 4-1-3-2 and bring Borhani/Madanchi for Teymourian/Nosrati.

there too many rumors - I hope he will NOT play!

I want to see 11 players on the field not 10+Daei.

Portugeese obviously think we are too weak after watching that game but our strengths are yet to come (with 11 players of course)

I also would stick to 4-2-3-1 specially when I saw teymouruian and Nokoonam fighting so well for Iran.

1- He was apoor man marker.
2- His area was always exposed and let a lot of space between him and the opposite player.
3- He is NOT a natrual left footer.
4- He was simply confused at times.
5- 3rd goal was from a cross on the left!


I think that is enough reason to try someone else.

I am not sure why Daee said that he did not receive a pass from midfield. Obviously, you need to run to an open space in order to receive a pass. I think Enayati deserves to take his place after being the top scorer of our league last season.
