Oh it has been over 8 years, and let's not kid ourselves, most of us won't
be able to get sleep tonight. Personal experience tells me, whenever
my expectation of TM has been great (except this year so far knock on
wood) our team has pretty much disappointed me. The reverse is also
true. So this time around, I am going with little expectation.

Nevertheless, there will be stress from the night before (or in my
case from a week before) all the way till the game is over. My suggestion
to you all, and this has worked for me recently is to drink a cup of Dough
with my meal, and also before going to bed have a glass of Chamomil
or Gol Baboneh. This will help you relax and hopefully get a good night
sleep. Also a technic that gets my mind off of various arrangment and
player selection is to count sheeps. (A glass of Babooneh before the
game also is known to help)

Have fun. Take it easy, and try not to have a heart attack.

As I find myself usually exhausted after important games, talk to you all
in about 24 hours.

I will remedy the situation by having girlfriend come over, a nice dinner for her, a nice #$%& for me, a bottle of wine and two alarm clock set for 5:45 am pacific time as I intend to see holland and Serbs go at it so i can get all hyped and twisted beyond proportion for the Iranian/Persian (just to be politically correct) team kicking some Mexican ass (I will apologize after the game to all my Mexican friends and buy them some Corona or tecate or XX to numb their senses)

Kay sobh mesheh???

Nice post GK jaan, and very nice of you to be worried about others.

My suggestion is

a)to make sure before the game you get a meal not to watch the game with empty stomach. Full breakfast or dinner depending on where you are.

b) Never fotget this is football and ANYTHING can happen. No matter who is better, in close games like this, anything can happen. Relax, enjoy this memorable moment and don't go over the board.

cheers.
