Just wanted to mention the anniversary of captain Ghaeyghran'd death which should be within the next couple of days. For those of you who dont know about him much,it's worth reminding that in an era when players and fans are more concerned about hair, car, fashion and all that crab, Ghaeyghran was a true player,a leader, great playmaker, excellent shooter, great friend for other players and A PLAYER WHO JUST PLAYED FOOTBALL AND NEVER COMPLAINED LIKE SOME OF OUR CURRENT (POR EDEA) PLAYERS...He was always respectful to people, media, other players and unlike many, would express himself ON THE FIELD by performing great games for his country...l also remember that was extremely popular amongst other players, especially Abedzadeh,Moharrami,Pius,Namjo-Motlagh and a few others.......What a great player,he was a true hero....Rohat shad bad agha Cyrus:)

it was yesterday I believe.
May his soul rest in peace as he was not only a great player but a respected capitan and a good person, no one can forget the goal he scored against S. korea in the 1990 asian games in the semi finals, that year Iran won the asian games.

Indeed! His 30 meter outside of the box shots will never be forgotton. His goal against S. Korea in 1990 was in fact ""THE"" turning point in our football.
