I guess since Uruguay was 'rumoured' to play us on May 30th, and now Cape Verde is confirmed that they are playing us, that means Uruguay is cancelled?

If so than I am at a loss for words

The uninhabited islands were discovered and colonized by the Portuguese in the 15th century; Cape Verde subsequently became a trading center for African slaves and later an important coaling and resupply stop for whaling and transatlantic shipping. Following independence in 1975, and a tentative interest in unification with Guinea-Bissau, a one-party system was established and maintained until multi-party elections were held in 1990.

This must be the biggest event in the history of Cape Verde

indeed a very sad tragedy it is......

lets just hope this one doesnt get cancelled as well

Don't worry. Cape Verde is some small island off the coast of Africa and they don't even know what they're talking about. They're nuts! I bet they don't even have an official football federation to even negotiate this with IFF.

I imagine the scheduled Uruguay game is cancelled - and that's a great thing. I don't believe our team would benefit from that match, especially as we have a certain history with teams like them.

I said this before, we have to play a small team like Angola so either they beat us and we don't understimate Angola or to know how to deal with small teams.
