3 brilliantly written articles in JF ( page 2 and 3 ) - saturday edition .

each perfectly captures the problems we have faced and will face if this trend continues at the TM.

enjoy :
( it was cut into two halves as it was unreadable at first )

1- Double standards and hypocrisy in TM :

2- New players - pros and cons

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c365/peyz/newplayers.jpg

3- a perfect summation of how the WORLD of football behaves, and how our coaches do.
a contrast in not only styles, but outcome as well.
I , personally LOVED this one.
quite an eye openeer for some.

Brilliantly put, that's all I can say!!

What's interesting is that seldom do we see anyone make any comment with regard to such articles!!

and here's one that TOPS them all in terms of quality, substance, credibility and importance:

enjoy or suffer .... whichever that fits the occasion :

this shd open up a lot of eyes and shut a lot of mouths .

especially since it comes from the motuh of a reputable and highly decorated HEAD coach, not "just-an-assistant-to-a-great-coach" who piggy-bak rides on the feat accomplished by another great coach, Ciro.

I totally agree with the article. He will have hard days in front of him, especially in front of Costa Rica. If we lose that game, then he will be (nd should be) fired because of the lack in preparation and wrong tactics, or for whatever reason.

Some players in the team will support Branko because he is lineant with them while others are not happy with him. He has acted smartly by keeping the most influencial players in the roster so that they do not act against him. The biggest example is Daei!! I fully agree that nekounam has declined (he acts like a bache soosool really) and that we have better tactics to make him work more on the VERY important position he is playing at the moment. He has no challenger so he does not give a shit! Also, Navidkia is a not TM material anymore, I agree with that too.

I, for one, wish that God gives him what he deserves. We have been loosing games after the 1-0 Bahrain win. There has been a decline in the TM and preparations have not been going very well. I am sure Dadkan is also observing all of this. taiwan and then Costa Rica are Branko's exams. Not that if we win he will stay, but if we win and play a crappy game he will be on the verge of being fired. Argentina game (if it happens) will be his final shot if he can stay on till then.

I am really shocked anyone is even thinking of firing a coach after a friendly match. Those matches aren't there for getting results, but to test certain things and improve others.

Or do we in future have to set up test matches ahead of test matches to prepare for those?? And if we then lose some pre-test-match-test-matches should the coach also be fired?

If the majority thinks a coach should be fired after bad friendly results there is absolutely no future for Iranian football.

unless in these "tests" (!!?!?!) we were testing how nosrati's new hairdo would look, or how mirza's goati would present him, .... we didnt achieve anything coz time and again we played with the same players, same formation and same tactics, ... .

but then again, this is what u always bring up : "we were testing" !!!!!!
it is the "what" that goes unanswered ...... all the time.

no hope here !

bad friendlies?

if those horrible displays of messy football during qualifiers and even before ( qatar, ... ) are what u'r proud of , that speaks volumes about :

a- your standards
b- your expectations
c- your low opinion on Iranian players' standards

which is not much to talk about !!

we have played horribely in the past 1.5 years.
a billion threads are proof..... and carry enough discussions on how many areas we have lacked and failed !

this is bordering on self-hypnosis to achieve a false sense of security !!! absurd !

Hey, why don't you follow Heshmat's advice, if he is so knowledgeable?

"What should our responsibility be at this point in regards to Branko?

Mohajerani,
One thing is for sure. Branko is not going to quit right now and I don’t think anyone is planning to fire him either. Then we might as well unite and support the team. "

This is what i have been saying ever since the first time i saw TM play with this group of players:

We have some of the best players in Asia and we are yet to synchronize them together.

What a great interview. Everything he said regarding Branko was 100% correct. Maybe he should come coach TM now.

Can someone give a brief overview of what the first 3 articles said?
