anyway I think Mahdavikia is a great player, his technic is superb he reades the game perfectly, he pays attention every second, he doesn't cry like some other players and he runs and runs up and down without slowing down or being tired and his passes are all smart and good. MASHALLAH KIA!

i LOVE kia man but for some reason he doesnt perform or play as hard for TEAM MELLI.

It pissed me off when he didnt score that open goal against Macedonia. If it was for hamburg, it would have been a goal for sure. He just let the defender catch up to him, then when he got tackled the ball hit his own face and went out. PERFECT chance, he just let it slip and that would have been the tie breaker.

Also, years ago, he messed up in a team melli game (i forgot what game) but couple of days later he did that famous HAMBURG-JUVENTUS game which ended 4-4 and the last 3 goals, mehdi was the reason.

Doesn't he play in different positions? for TM and for HSV? Even before he moves ack to defence, I don't tink e was putting on a good show... at least not RECENTLY... a few yrs back maybe...

i wouldnt mind him playing RB for TM considering kaabis recently weak performances in IPL but then we dont have someone good enough for RM.

unless we wanna play someone like navidkia/jabbari/rajabzadeh or even kazemiyan who wont give us the same output kia gives but then kia will be supporting him from back, so it will be amazing!

hamburg's forward suck real bad man!
-barbarez is their best and he is 34 or something now,
-lauth is miserable, he sux real bad and has scored i think 2 or 3 goals for hsv this season and nothing useful from him!
-takahara usually benched, but even when he plays, he doesnt have good finishing ability which he has carried to the japanese national team as well.
-kucukovic is too young and inexperienced and wastes a lot of chances!
-mpenza was in a slump but he did return with an amazing game in the first half of the season and i thought hsv staff decided not to let him go, dunno why he left!
-ailton, old, slow and so far nothing useful from him!

so they have to rely on poor kia to score all the way from RB, vandervart who is injured, trochowski for his long shots which mostly dont enter the goal and vanbuyten's heading ability which hasnt been of much use lately!

maybe they can buy hashemian next season if he does well this season and we will see both kia-hash duo in champions league :cool:
